Who we are

S. Alz., an individual seller based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller for personal data processed through Meeting Cost. Contact us through our contact form.

What stays on your device

Job titles, salaries, hours, participants and meeting history are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not upload, receive or have access to that data.

What we collect

  • Account data — email address and authentication identifiers, so you can sign in and keep your purchase (basis: performance of our contract).
  • Purchase and entitlement records — that Pro is active for your account, and the related order reference (basis: contract and legal obligation).
  • Anonymous usage counts — number of meetings tracked and total tracked cost, with no personal identifiers (basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the product).
  • Support messages — what you send us by email (basis: legitimate interest in answering you).
  • Technical data — IP address and device information processed by our hosting provider for security and fraud prevention (basis: legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

  • Hosting, database and authentication providers that run the Service for us.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds. Payment card details go to Paddle, never to us.
  • Google, where you install or purchase through the Play Store.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Our providers may process data outside the UAE; where they do, transfers rely on contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Account and entitlement data are kept while your account exists and for as long as needed for tax and accounting records, then deleted or anonymised. Anonymous usage counts are kept indefinitely because they contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send the request through our contact form and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database security, to protect personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential storage: a sign-in session token and your locally stored app data. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Clearing your browser storage removes both.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date above.
